Midweek Service Update: Power Up Wednesdays
Please take note of our current hiatus for Power Up Wednesdays. Midweek Manna and our Wednesday Bible Study with Pastor Kemp are on break through August 26th.
However, the Antioch Prayer Meeting will continue its regular schedule at 5:15 PM.
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 2nd, when Midweek Manna and Bible Study return at 12:00 PM and 6:30 PM. We can’t wait to see you back for our midweek refuel!
Celebrating 17 Years of Leadership
September is a special month for our congregation as we celebrate the 17th Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Kenneth Kemp and Lady Velma Kemp. Join us every Sunday morning throughout the month as we honor their dedication and service.
We are honored to host a lineup of featured guest ministers, including:

21st Annual African American Citywide Seniors Conference
Date: Saturday, September 4th
Time: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Location: E. Thurman Walker Sports Complex (314 E. Ross, San Antonio)
This year’s theme is “United We Stand.” All seniors aged 55 and up are invited to join us for a morning of Friday fellowship and vital information regarding:
- Medicare benefits
- Home safety issues
- Mental health care
- Available senior services

Youth & Young Adults: Kickin’ it with the Kemps
On Sunday, September 13th, immediately following the 10:00 AM service, our youth and young adults are invited to Rector Hall for “Kickin’ it with the Kemps.”
This is a casual, open conversation with Pastor and First Lady Kemp. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect beyond the Sunday service and discuss biblical wisdom, life advice, faith, and family. Let’s build stronger relationships with Christ and each other.
First Lady’s Roundtable & Brunch
Ladies, save the date! On Saturday, September 26th at 11:00 AM, join First Lady Kemp for a Roundtable Discussion and Brunch at the Antioch Sports Complex and Community Center. This event is held in celebration of the 17th Pastoral Anniversary. For more details, contact the church office at (210) 225-2452.
Get Your Aprons Ready: The Antioch Cook-off
Who is the best chef at Antioch? We’re about to find out! Join us on Sunday, October 11th after the 10:00 AM service in Rector Hall for the 2026 Antioch Cook-off Competition.
